Regent unveils 'build your own cruise' brochure

Passengers are being offering the chance to ‘pick and mix’ cruises in a new initiative from Regent Seven Seas Cruises.

The all-inclusive luxury line has published a ‘Build Your Own Cruise’ brochure detailing combinable cruises on board Seven Seas Voyager in Asia, Australia and Europe.

Three options are available ranging from 18 individual segments of seven to 21 nights in duration to voyages of more than 90 nights embarking in either Auckland, Sydney, Singapore or Dubai and disembarking in either Rome, Barcelona, Southampton, Reykjavik, Copenhagen or Stockholm.

Combination cruises from 50-71 nights between November 2011 and March 2012 are also available. A range of added benefits apply on the longer cruises including business class flights and free internet access on board.

The line is also making segments of a 72-night South America circumnavigation on Seven Seas Mariner available. Those opting for the full voyage are being offered private transfers, free internet access, complimentary phone usage and $600 per person onboard credit.

RSSC managing director Europe Graham Sadler said: “We know our guests prefer to sail longer voyages with Regent, so our collection of shorter segment cruises provide a port intensive version of a world cruise without the sea days at either end, enabling guests to decide their own itinerary, how long they want to be away and how far they want to travel.

“The cruises also start early in the winter, meaning guests can get away a bit earlier than a traditional world cruise and not come back until July.

“With each cruise acting as a building block, guests can pick and mix their itinerary and duration to create their own personalised adventure.

Daydream in Color » {Freebie Friday} Paper Sailboats

I can’t believe 4th of July just snuck up on us like this. Here in Portland, it’s the annual Blues Festival at Waterfront Park right outside my place. For the past two weeks, boats have anchored themselves near the little “beach” to get the prime stage viewing locations for the event. Now, I certainly don’t have a boat to claim my place, but I sure do love the thought of them. There are an assortment of big and small and some of wood and others of steel. They all sit there bobbing in and out of the water as is in their free nature.

I thought what better way to celebrate our freedom than a cute little sailboat printable craft! I’ve made them in blue and white stripes and red and white stripes, which seemed most fitting for this weekend. This is the perfect craft to make a bunch of and to make with the kiddies. If you’re having a BBQ this weekend, some of them have little scrolls to write your guests’ names, a personalized message, or even your dish name. You can also decorate the sail with the same words or little drawings. You can also just print out a bunch and set them out with Popsicle sticks, safety scissors, and markers for little kiddies to make their own while the parents are chatting away. If you have a pool or fountain, these would be cute floating in them. I plan to stick them on benches and plants and in fountains and rivers around town. Hopefully, they’ll float pass someone or catch their eye and make them smile.

HOW TO:

Supplies:

Printed template Scissors Skewer, toothpick, coffee stirrer, straws, or Popsicle sticks (Anything tall that can hold the sail) Adhesive (White glue, tape runner, glue stick, double-sided tape, etc.) Tape, optional

Instructions:

Click the template you want to open. Print on copy paper for easy folding. If using the blank templates, print on a colored or patterned paper. If you are printing on colored or patterned paper, it’d be fun to choose at least 2 different colors so that you can mix and match the boats and sails.

Cut out the square and triangle sail on the solid lines.

Make the sailboat: Fold the square in half with the pattern on the inside. Fold the rectangle in half, so that you now have a square. Fold one of the open flaps to the diagonal opposite point.
