He said, “We have drawn inspiration from the intellectual and political pathway of humanity,” It is important that we understand that this was not some passive search for those pathways, that having been identified were then pursued.

Sure, it doesn't move as fast as “Drive-In”, it isn't as visually stunning as “Hazard,” and there are no alien autopsies going on, but there is a lot of freedom in this map. At first glance “Silo” is a big map, but after you learn the pathways,
It was agreed to pursue a design influenced by existing, high-traffic, pathways, and conceptually intrigued by the moving of people through a larger body of space. The idea of creating both a material change, and an immaterial shift of atmosphere,
Mommy 2K: Rosa Parks: Pathways to Freedom Ghana 2011
Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat on the bus to a white passenger and became prisoner number 7053. Most, if not all , know the events that took place on December 1, 1955. While it may have been viewed as an act of noncompliance. Rosa's sit down in order to stand up attitude made her one of the most notable pioneers for civil rights. Today, her mission to create opportunity and break down the barriers of social injustice live on, even after her death. Rosa Parks, a name that is globally recognized to represent peace and equality, will have a road in Cape Coast, Ghana, West Africa named in her honor. Parks’ commitment and activism has aided in the plight of descendants of the African Diaspora. An avid Human and Civil Rights leader, Parks refused to give her seat to a Caucasian male passenger on a racially segregated bus in Montgomery, Alabama on December 1, 1955, being the catalyst for the Montgomery Bus Boycott that reverberated around the world. Her act of courage changed the course of history and motivated people around the world, especially African Americans and other people of color to fight for equal rights as citizens of the United States. August 5-12, 2011 Pathways to Freedom, a program of Rosa and Raymond Parks Institute for Self Development will journey to Ghana, West Africa for educational enrichment and historical research. The non-profit, 501-c3 is the only organization founded by Rosa Parks to continue her legacy.
