Following on from my first entry into the conflict between corporate rights and rights of the community, most business activities are not only monopolize the resources, they also pollute and often create hazardous conditions for human beings to live in their own communities.Yet - for 40 years, we have a system in place that is supposedly responsible for regulating and preventing the harm password. This system, the system of environmental regulation, fails to protect the well-being of communities and the environment.

The current regulatory system, as its name implies, regulates the damage can be done as a result of industrial activities and businesses. I learned like most American children that democracy is where people decide through a vote and direct representation. What we are not told is that corporations are considered people in the eye of the law ... and that changes everything. The number of people who vote are out numbered in relation to the amount of money that companies use to influence policy with lobbying and corporate gifts to government officials.Corrupt societies of our democratic system by the direct influence on legislation that is pro-business and anti-community decision-making, holding that defy the laws of citizenship and the rights of nature.
