The 10th Hour 07.04.11 Top 10 Comic Book Games
Welcome to the 10th Hour. Armando is going to be out for a while, so I'll be handling the entire list making responsibilities for the time being. As a general disclaimer, it is impossible for one person to make a truly objective top ten list of anything, and I'm not arrogant enough to try. So, just relax, sit back and enjoy the lists for what they are; the opinions of a man who has wasted far too many hours gaming. Most of you probably haven't played Batman for the NES. The game is loosely based on the 1989 movie and even features an 8-bit version of Nicholson's Joker. In terms of gameplay, Batman takes its cues from Ninja Gaiden. Although it had the same framework as Ryu's adventures, Batman featured a bit more level variety, and some of the best 8-bit music of all time. Batman stands up pretty well against 2D action games of its time, and it's still worth a try for any fan of old school gaming. Super-heroes and beat-‘em ups go together like peanut butter and jelly. After all, taking on waves of impotent minions is a big part of the super-hero lifestyle. One of the most fondly remembered super hero beat em ups is X-men the Arcade Game. X-men The Arcade Game came in several different cabinets. If you were a lucky kid, your local arcade had the gargantuan six player cabinet. You and five of your buddies could team up to battle waves of Sentinels, Savage Land Dinosaurs, The Blob, Emma Frost, and eventually the Master of Magnet himself. Unfortunately, one person would inevitably be stuck playing as Dazzler. X-men The Arcade Game was a fun way to waste your laundry money back in the day. Nowadays, it's a pretty shallow experience, but still a lot of fun if you can get six friends together. If you want to see what the hype was all about, you can download an HD version of the classic game on Xbox Live or the PlayStation Network. Best of all, you can play the game online with all six playable mutants. The turtles may have gained most of their fans through their late 80's/early 90's TV series, but they actually started their lives on the pages of a surprisingly gritty comic book. As turtle-mania swept the nation, the four mutants starred in three games across the NES. The fourth entry of the Turtles series, Turtles in Time, was released on the SNES where it went on to become one of the most beloved beat em ups of all time.Grand Theft Auto 3 Soundtrack - News

It was like Grand Theft Auto, except instead of killing prostitutes, you help little girls recover lost balloons. In addition to a surprisingly robust single player campaign, and an impressive recreation of New York, Spider-man 2 featured a flexible

He shares some of the traits of Rockstar's other protagonists such as Niko Bellic (Grand Theft Auto IV) and John Marston (Red Dead Redemption) but at the same time is quite unique, using his wits more often than his trusty side-arm, which despite

Initially Yakuza was compared with other domestic titles, but more recently a greater number of direct comparisons have been made with international phenomena like the Grand Theft Auto series. It's not a shift that has compelled us to compete with GTA.
We do, they're just called Call of Duty, Halo, Gears of War, and Grand Theft Auto. I think we will.l ATLUS is usually good about that kind of thing, especially with their SMT games. I'm beginning to think there's a bit of girl-girl romance in this game
A game that more readily springs to mind as lacking soul is Driver 76, a "by-the-numbers" sequel so generic (and inferior to its GTA competitors) that its existence seems entirely pointless, despite its technical proficiency.
THEPLAYGAMER.: THEPLAYGAMER3: GRand theft auto Liberty City Stories
Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories (commonly abbreviated as GTA: LCS, GTA: Liberty City Stories or Liberty City Stories) is a sandbox-style action-adventure video game developed by Rockstar North and Rockstar Leeds.[2] It is the ninth game in the Grand Theft Auto series. It was released for the PlayStation Portable in North America on October 25, 2005 and in the United Kingdom (UK) on November 4, 2005. The game is the prequel to Grand Theft Auto III and was succeeded by Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories. It was published and distributed by Capcom for the Japanese release. A port for the PlayStation 2 was released on June 6, 2006 in North America, and June 22, 2006 in the UK and the rest of Europe. At the time of release, the recommended retail price of the PS2 port was around half the price of the PSP version. The PS2 port does not feature the custom soundtrack ripping capability, in comparison to its PSP counterpart. It was released on October 1, 2009 as a downloadable game on the revised PSP model PSP Go. In addition, motorcycles are permitted in the city during this game, as earlier-released games (set later in the GTA universe chronology) do not allow this. The official Liberty City Stories website reveals that motorbikes were banned by the turn of the 21st century, due to a public ordinance supported by the Maibatsu Corporation (which marketed the over-sized Maibatsu Monstrosity in GTA III) in order to promote the use of automobiles in the city. Though airplanes and helicopters can be found in Vice City, usable airplanes and helicopters cannot be found in Liberty City Stories. Toni Cipriani is fresh back in the city after lying low for several years, having killed a made man as a favor for Don Salvatore Leone. The grateful Salvatore puts him straight back to work. During the course of Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories, players can accept a variety of missions from many people, including Salvatore, Salvatore's wife Maria, JD O'Toole, wise guy Vincenzo "Vinnie" Cilli, and even Toni's own mother. Players may also accept missions from the "Avenging Angels", similar to the Guardian Angels, earning special vehicles and wardrobe rewards. The game features a club named "Paulie's Revue Bar" which is later taken over by the Leone family and renamed "Sex Club Seven". In the PSP version, as in all subsequent versions than the beta version you cannot go in the club.
