8600 block Germantown Ave. – two men stole $32,000 from Sovereign Bank. The bank's assistant manager said the offenders each entered with shotguns and said, "Don't move everybody down and stay down." One of the offenders then jumped the counter and took money from two teller registers. Offenders then fled the scene. ( full story )

7200 block E. Walnut Lane – washing machine stolen from the property. Complainant said she watched two men load the item onto a vehicle. She said the offenders sped away when her boyfriend attempted to stop them.
700 block Briar Road – police arrested a man who was in the process of burglarizing the property Officers watched the offender carry some bags from the rear of the property. When they attempted to stop him, he fled on foot. Police captured the offender and made the arrest. A witness saw the offender carrying a TV, vacuum cleaner and other items out of the home.
5900 block Stenton Ave. – toilet paper was set on fire inside the third floor boy's bathroom at Martin Luther King High School. Fire was extinguished. There was no property damage and no injuries.
6600 block Ardleigh St. – DVD player, XM radio, GPS and a car stereo stolen from a 2003 GMC Yukon Denali.
7100 block Cedar Park Ave. – wallet containing $550, SS card and bank cards were stolen from a 2000 Pontiac Bonneville between 2:30 p.m. May 24 and 8:05 a.m. May 25.
100 block E. Washington Lane – complainant said that two men approached him from behind and struck him in the back of the head. Complainant then fought back until of the offenders stabbed him in the left shoulder with an unknown object. Complainant chased the offenders, but soon lost them.
700 block E. Chelten Ave. – complainant said a man shot him in the abdomen after two men mugged him and a friend and gunpoint. Complainant said the offenders approached them from behind. One of the offenders then said, "Give me your stuff, I'm about to shoot your man." Complainant's friend then handed over a $1 in coins. One of the offenders then shot the complainant. Complainant was taken to the hospital.
